PAUL MIKULIN, LNHA

Paul Mikulin is our Country Club Retirement Campus Administrator

Paul earned an Associate of Science Degree from Cuyahoga Community College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Baldwin Wallace College. He began his career as a Respiratory Therapist and eventually advanced to manage the Respiratory Therapy, Electrocardiography, Echo cardiology and Cardiac Catheter Lab at Euclid General Hospital. He later changed careers and was licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in 1981. He advanced to the position of Regional Director for a growing nursing home company eventually managing ten nursing homes in Florida and Ohio. Paul has also been an active entrepreneur, starting and managing his own businesses including a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency, Medical Staffing Agency, Supported Living Agency serving Developmentally Disabled Persons and a real estate development and property management company.

We are excited about what his experience brings to the residents here at CCRC, and welcome Paul back into Long Term Care.

DR. SUK KON CHOI, M.D.
Medical Director


Dr, Choi is the Medical Director for our Campus.

Dr. Choi graduated from Chonnam University Medical School in Korea in 1971. He interned at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lorain, Ohio and did his residency at Polyclinic Hospital, Women's General Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital.

There is a 20 year relationship between Dr. Choi and CCRC, and we are honored to have such a well respected and talented physician as Medical Director of our facility.

GINA GRUEY, RN

Gina is our Director of Nursing. She began on our campus in September of 2000 and has progressed through roles of increasing leadership and responsibility from staff nurse, Program Coordinator, and Assistant Director of Nursing to her current role. In 2006, Gina's first year as DON, our campus received a perfect survey from the Ohio Department of Health.

Gina's accreditations include a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Kent State She has worked with Dr. Lee at Northeast Surgical Associates of Ohio to receive wound care skills. She is also a certified Red Cross Instructor and First Aid Instructor.

Gina is a wonderful part of our team and it is a certainty that you will appreciate her beautiful nature and professionalism as we have over the years.

CHRIS BANIC, COTA
Program Therapy Manager

Chris is our Program Therapy Manager and comes to us with over nine years of experience.

Chris's responsibilities include scheduling rehabilitation, overseeing care plans and making sure that our residents are as comfortable as possible as they go through the process of moving on with their therapy. Chris works for Enduracare, our partnered therapy company, and his professional expertise is an integral part of our resident's daily care plan.

Chris also has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management. Our staff is glad to have such a well rounded manager in charge of this department.

PAULINE SILER
Billing Manager

Pauline is our Billing Manager. Her responsibilities include billing Medicare, Medicaid, Private pay, Insurances, Cash Balancing, Collections and Data Entry. Pauline is your source for all information related to your bill at CCRC.

Pauline joined our Campus family in 2004. She has attended Kent State University, has a Data Entry/Operator Certification from TCU Training Center in Cleveland and is currently working on her Billing and Coding Certification at New Horizons in Cleveland.

Working very closely with our team, Pauline is an invaluable part of the day to day operation and we appreciate her expertise.

JENNY DAWSON

Jenny is our Office Manager and has been employed with CCRC since 2002. She has experience in Medical Records, Human Resources, Payroll and working in the Life Enrichment Center. She is responsible for handling all financial records, resident funds, and the day to day business operations. She works very closely with all of the management team to be sure that our resident's needs are met.

Jenny attended Ashtabula County JVS and Lakeland Community College and focused on accounting.

Jenny is passionate about the care at CCRC and has entrusted four loved ones in the past three years to our campus..

Our campus values Jenny, her caring attitude and her expertise at her job. When she is not wearing her "financial hat" you will see her smiling face lending a hand with the rest of our CCRC team, making your experience here an enjoyable one.

MINDY DAYE
LEC Director/ Concierge/ Activities Director

Mindy is our LEC Director and also acts as Activities Director and Concierge for our Campus. She has been with the Ashtabula campus for 8 years/ She started with us as a nurses' aide in 2000, was promoted to Activities Director in July of 2007.

Her responsibilities include scheduling appointments for our offered serviced in the LEC, such as tanning, facials, massage and personal training, introducing the community to CCRC and scheduling and assisting with activities. As Concierge and Activities Director, Mindy's goal is to make resident's lives more full by offering life enriching activities to our residents and also to make our residents' lives the most comfortable they can possibly be on our campus.

She wears all of her hats well, and we are happy to have her smiling face in our building each day!

JEANNE ONUSKA

Jeanne comes to our campus with 30 years of experience in the healthcare field. She began at The Medical Center in Beaver, PA and was there for 20 years transitioning from a nursing assistant to Case Manager responsible for Utilization Review and Pathway Project for Cardiac, Pediatric and Neonatal until in that time.

Jeanne then went to Kindred Hospital in Pittsburgh as Admissions and UR Coordinator and Marketing Director for several nursing facilities in Northeast Ohio before coming to us as our Marketing Director.

We are excited about what her experience will bring to our residents and welcome her to our campus!

DOUG FENTON
Maintenance Supervisor

Doug is our Maintenance Supervisor and has been a member of the Country Club family since 2003. He brings 12 years of experience in the maintenance field and holds certifications in both air conditioning and electricity.

Doug can be seen around the campus evaluating empty apartments, on the floor fixing anything which needs to be fixed and interacting with the residents. He enjoys using his skills in heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, construction, remodeling apartments and keeping up with the grounds.

If you have a maintenance issue, feel free to chat with either Doug or one of his staff. He has become close to our residents and considers them to be part of his extended family.

CHARLENE DAYE
Housekeeping Supervisor

Charlene is the Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry. It is her responsibility to be certain that the campus is sparkling clean every day. She takes great pride in her work and her efforts ensure far more than the comfort of our residents. Charlene plays an instrumental role in the care of our residents through meticulous and precise sanitation guidelines to prevent infection and spread of communicable diseases. Charlene's staff keeps a regimented cleaning schedule and adheres to a strict course of action right down to the proper use of all cleaning supplies.

Charlene is also an STNA, and will often be seen functioning in that area. This gives her an exceptional opportunity to see how her staff operates from the "other side of the fence"

Charlene has been with our campus since 2000, and took over the supervisor position in 2006. Thank you, Charlene, for running such a tidy ship.

TABITHA RAMOS
Crews Director

Tabitha is the Crews Director at Country Club Retirement Center. Her career with CCRC began in 2001 when she was hired as an STNA.

Tabitha is well versed in many areas of our campus as she has worked as a medical record specialist, STNA, payroll specials, and finally our full time Crews Director. Her job is to handle all CCRC employee issues. She meets with each department, participates in regular meetings and solves problems on a daily basis.

Tabitha is our "CREW" Liaison. CCRC takes great pride in being an exceptional employer. It is through our Crews Directors that we find and retain exceptional employees who in turn make us an exceptional facility..
